In Samadhi: Am I God or Human?

What happens to a person in Samadhi? Can enlightened souls trigger spiritual miracles? Are they Gods or Humans?

These questions perplex spiritual seekers when they connect with or learn about an enlightened soul. This confusion leads people to flock to spiritual mentors while yet fearing and distrusting them.

What is Samadhi?

Samadhi is a state of mind in which a person becomes entirely free from the influx of thoughts. Individuals feel a union with their inner divinity (the soul) as the mind becomes clean and calm. It is a beautiful state because we feel the perennial presence of the divine.

In particular, Samadhi has nothing to do with the body. Some sages appeared radiant, but some looked nothing beyond ordinary. Many who reached Samadhi had no Siddhi or extraordinary powers because they couldn’t care less about it.

Samadhi is a blissful state of mind. It is not easy to attain, but it is not impossible. Anything beyond that is merely a myth.

Miracles in Samadhi?

When someone feels the state of Samadhi, their mind merges with Nature or Divine Energy. They essentially become Nature. As a result, Nature begins to respond to them.

For example, around 15-20 days ago, I told Mother Nature: “One of my spiritual sons is suffering from inner trauma, making him dysfunctional. He must surrender to You to feel peace. You know what’s best for him, but I’m simply expressing concern.”

After that, I didn’t do anything. Somehow, Nature worked its magic, and that person felt surrendered to the divine in such a short time. These things happen so often now that I can’t deny it as a coincidence anymore.

Why does Nature respond to me, who is but a speck of dust in the great expanse of the universe? I don’t know. The fact that Nature responds with a perfect track record makes it a miracle beyond my comprehension.

Am I God or Human?

I am human—a simple woman who has surrendered her head to Divine Energy. The only thing I did differently from most people was that I pursued my spiritual growth with utmost sincerity.

I listened to and carried out every instruction given by my mentor and my divine dreams without questions. I did what I was told; that’s it.

After a decade of spiritual practices, I felt at peace. Spiritual experiences poured in, even though I didn’t ask for them. I had a Divine Vision, which was neither a longing nor a desire. It all just happened on its own in the path.

Speaking the raw truth, my mind now rests in a state of Samadhi. So, at all times, I feel I am Divine Energy (Sri). That is Advaita Sri Vidya, my spiritual truth. Beyond that, I claim nothing.

I hope that clarifies some queries people had about me.

Love,
Sri Devi Om

Advaita Sri Vidya

Advaita is a state of mind in which one feels they are no different from Divine Energy. Sri Vidya is a sophisticated path that integrates Vedic and right-handed (non-sexual) Tantrik beliefs to reach that state.
